BLACKSTONE PURCHASES COPELAND (EMERSON CLIMATE / ALCO)

On May 31 2023, Blackstone completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Copeland, formerly Climate Technologies, from Emerson. As a company focused on the technology behind heating, cooling and refrigeration, and with the support that comes from being a portfolio company of Blackstone, Copeland is taking its next step as a leader in sustainable climate solutions.

As Copeland fully evolves into a standalone company, it promises to remain focused on serving its customers and delivering high levels of customer service. Ity has been cofirmed that the current team at Emerson will remain the same the new organisation. There will be no current change to the brands or product linups as part of this deal, also the manufacturing processes and location will also remain the same. .
